Our meal plan depends on our occupancy.
It will either be a buffet or set menu with ample choices

What amenities do you offer?
Our rooms have the usual amenities you will find in a star class hotel.
Tea/Coffee making facility, Hot water showers, Towels, Daily housekeeping, Blankets, Hair dryer, Iron (on demand), Flat Screen TV with Cable TV channels, Mini Bar, Balcony or Terrace, Complimentary toiletries.

Challenge us to a cricket match (or play one yourself). If you dont have enough for a full match, let us know and we will try and gather more guests or assemble an Amaara Forest team to take you on! We have an agreement with our local school to use their ground if its available.

We are flexible by a few hours subject to availability and your room being ready.
How many guests can stay in a room?
Maximum of 4 guests. Our rooms are 625 Sq ft hence we can add two extra beds and still have plenty of space to move around comfortably. Ideal for families as we can fit everyone in one room!
How many rooms do you have?
44 Rooms. 20 with double beds and 24 with twin beds.
Let us know your bedding preference when booking and we will try our best to allocate it accordingly.
What size is your bed?
Our Double beds are King Size and our twin beds are 4 ft wide for maximum comfort.
Do you have vegetarian food?
Yes, let us know if you require vegetarian food or any other dietary restrictions and we can arrange accordingly.
Do you offer halal food?
Yes, all our suppliers are halal certified.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Sorry, we do not allow bottles to be brought and consumed in our premises. We have a fully stocked bar for you to enjoy. If you do want to bring your own alcohol we charge a corkage fee of LKR 5000 per bottle.
Can you arrange a safari for us?
Yes, let Amaara Safaris take you on an Elephant Safari. Our team will check prior to departure which park has the best chance for you to see more herds.
What is included in full board and half board?
Full board basis includes all 3 meals (Breakfast, lunch and dinner)
Half board basis includes dinner and breakfast
Drinks, bites, mini bar and a la carte orders are not included and will be charged on consumption.

Yes apart from our main Kayaa Restaurant we have two unique dining options.
Tree Tops Restaurant – Dining on a tree house.
Sigiri Oya Deck – Have a meal by the banks of the Sigiri Oya.
Ask us for more details if you are interested in any of these options.
What can you offer for groups?
Groups of 6 rooms and above may be entitled to an additional discount.
Group of 11 rooms and above can enjoy free corkage.
We also have some private group dining options. Forest Restaurant, Paduru Party, BBQ by the pool and many more. Ask us for more details!
Can you arrange events at the Amaara Forest?
Yes! We are geared to handle meetings, conferences and wedding. we have a conference room which can hold up to 80 pax and another event hall for max of 40 pax. Looking for something different? Small groups can even use our tree tops restaurant to have a meeting on a tree house! Speak to our team to discuss some tailormade solutions for you.
